Taylor's journey into music began in the 5th grade. Playing the saxophone then in high school switching over to the drums. Playing in a punk/metal band and working his way to jazz and trip hop, he was able to expand his musical knowledge and skills with his instrument over the next 7 years. After acquiring a 4 track to record his current projects, Taylor became excited with the new possibilities of multi track recording. Soon after, he began to experiment with writing his own compositions. His early recordings included hiphop, downtempo and experimental ambient music. This would set the course for the next 9 years.

In 2000, Taylor made the decision to study audio production at the Art Institute of Seattle to better his recordings. In 2002 he had finished his first album ( Sideways). A downtempo album under the moniker " mr. Epic" for his love of big, epic style beats and melodies. The music was well received and made it onto the local FM stations and had a song off the album make to a CD compilation ( Chill VOl. 2 - Abstrakt Reality Records ).

In 2005, Taylor under the moniker ( T.Z.A ) had 2 songs signed to the London based label Obscene Recordings, sister label to Dylan's Freak imprint. With mostly vinyl releases, he would continue on releasing music for the next 2 years. With worldwide distribution and radio support in countries like the UK, South Africa, Russia and more. In 2006/ early 07 he began touring promoting his releases throughout the US and Canada.

In late 2006, the focus began to shift. With an early dream of doing film and game scoring the timing was right to pursue it deeper. Currently, working on his first independent feature with other projects in the pipeline, Taylor is hard at work fine tuning his craft and using his talents to help to make great films..
